Product Features:
By projecting a tight “beam” of air across a room, this lightweight, portable heater gently blankets the entire room in warmth. The vortex-action beam forces air towards the room’s perimeter, thus heating the entire room, floor to ceiling, wall to wall. Quiet and compact, the heater measures just 12 inches high, 12 inches wide, and 10 inches deep. Two heat outputs (1,500 watts on high, 750 watts on low) and a variable heat control provide precise temperature control. Two fan settings permit a choice of continuous action or cycling on and off with the heating element, which is controlled by a thermostat that automatically turns the heater on and off to maintain a selected temperature. All controls are mounted on the heater’s top for easy access.
Several features ensure safety: a nonglowing heating element mounted to nonflammable mica, automatic shutoff if the unit tips over or overheats, and a cool-touch cabinet. Because the heater has angled vents, it can be placed with its back close to the wall. Finally, the heater can be set in antifreeze mode, turning on only if a room’s temperature falls below 40 degrees F. The heater carries a one-year warranty against defects. (Fred Brack - Amazon)

Sick and frustrated at the pump? Can you cope with those rising gasoline prices? Well, it’s really getting out of hand…..so read this…..
Martin Eberhard, CEO and co-founder of Tesla, drives the Tesla Roadster. Eberhard wanted to create an electric car that uses no gasoline, without skimping on style, speed or function.
It goes zero to 60 in about four seconds. Its top speed is 130 miles per hour. And it doesn’t use an ounce of gasoline!
The Tesla Roadster, is a new car that’s fueled entirely by electricity and could be hitting the lot just in time. Today the Energy Department reported that the average gallon of regular gasoline is now $3.10 — a new nominal record price for the United States.
“It’s time for us to do something about our dependence on foreign oil,” Eberhard said. “But I wasn’t ready to go drive around some goofy little car. … Think of how electric cars look. All the ones you’ve ever thought of.” “Our ultimate goal is to be the next great American car company,” he said, “to have a whole line of cars for every kind of driver and all of them not burning gasoline.”
Wonderful goals, Martin…..and Good Luck!!

United States citizens still remember freshly when the postage rates last went up in January of 2006. The big question we are all asking is…..Why another increase so soon? Well, we’ve got to grin and bare it!
Starting today, Monday, May 14, 2007 a first-class letter will go up 2 cents making it 41 cents.
As an added service, the U.S. Postal Service will issue the Forever stamp, which will always be valid as First-Class postage on standard envelopes weighing one ounce or less, regardless of any subsequent increases in the First-Class rate. The stamp art depicts the Liberty Bell, which is perhaps the most prominent and recognizable symbol associated with American independence.

A latest study, according to panelists at a scientific meeting, discussing the benefits - and risks - of the beverage, “drinking coffee” can help ward off type 2 diabetes and may even help prevent certain cancers! The study which was conducted at The Harvard School of Public Health found evidence that the beverage may protect against certain types of colon cancer, as well as rectal and liver cancer, possibly by reducing the amount of cholesterol.
“It’s not like we’re promoting coffee as the new health food and asking people who don’t like coffee to drink coffee for their health,” says Dr. Rob van Dam of Harvard School. “Just don’t look at coffee as such a negative health image.”
Of course, findings suggest that people who may be extremely vulnerable to caffeine, pregnant women, and children — should limit their coffee consumption.
Stay Healthy…..

Can’t wait till you have your cup of coffee in the morning?? No need to be groggy in the morning. Help is on the way - and that is a “caffeinated bar of soap.”
Inventors have created a soap infused with caffeine which helps users wake up in the morning.
The soap, called Shower Shock, supplies the caffeine equivalent of two cups of coffee per shower-wash! The manufacturers claim that as a person lathers him or herself with the Shower Shock soap it releases caffeine which absorbs in the body.
The caffeine will last in your system for approximately four hours. They’re time-savers as you don’t have to wait around for your coffee to brew in the morning.
Whatever you prefer, Enjoy!!
