What Is LunchHourSale.com?

It all began at a local coffee shop in Brooklyn’s Park Slope area in NY. We, a group of working moms, enjoying our hot chocolate latte, were chatting about work and life, when the name “woot.com” came up. We all had negative things to say about them. No, we have no problem with their business style, we only wish if they can establish a program that blocks “very married men” from their site! Why? No, we are not feminists…. just read on.

We work all day, (and yes, we women actually work - not supervise and fiddle around like men!) dinner preparations are waiting for us, (no, our dinner doesn’t appear magically on the table) and the kids then demand our attention.

Our famished “overworked” husbands now enter the scene, only to take their dinner plate opposite the TV! Their eyes are focused on the TV for the next few hours totally oblivious to the home chores, claiming “we need to know what’s going on in the world”…

And so, night approaches and we are extremely exhausted awaiting our good nights rest…. But guess what, our husbands need to be ready for their midnight agenda! Why? What? Simply speaking - that’s when the pope hats at woot.com launch their woot of the day! How they picked that hour is beyond us, we guess only a pope hat would have the answer to that. We frustrated women, left with literally no companion for the remainder of the night (or as these woot guys claim “it’s early morning not late at night”) felt it’s just not fair!

So who says life is fair? Instead of fighting this issue with our spouses, we came up with this brainstorm to tag along. We told our honeys we’re staying up with you, but night after night the only deals they offered was gadgets for men! (Oh, sorry they DO offer some vacuum cleaners or coffee makers maybe twice a year!) So we would end up just being part of the furniture, watching the guys order night after night another gadget (like it’s the end of the world if they don’t have 20 USB devices.)

We won’t mention the woot-off nights when our husbands call in sick the next day because they have the urge and NEED to stay up all night!

To fulfill our needs, we embraced our own ideas, and LunchHourSale.com thus surfaced (or LadiesHour.com which we are afraid might get men too mad). Quite frankly, short and to the point - we just plan on catering to W-O-M-E-N.

So, How Does LunchHourSale.com Work?

Every week, from Monday through Thursday at exactly 12:00 P.M. EST we, at LunchHourSale.com will launch a unique item of interest to women. Our sale-of-the-day will last until 4 P.M. EST

As you can see, we are very generous by allowing you a 4-hour lunch break! Be aware that amount of sales coming in are unpredictable, and quantities may be limited. Therefore, hurry and make your purchase before the “Sold Out” icon appears since it is possible that the item can be sold before our “Expired Time” at 4 P.M.

Sorry, sometimes your lunchtime won’t last too long.

What items do we offer?

Our goal is to focus on high-end kitchen appliances, catering to us women who have the upper hand and enjoy home cooking (what do men know?!?). Occasionally we will be offering cool kitchen gadgets along with some useful home appliances and also items which are of interest to women.

Should we dare offer something of interest to men?? We are opened for suggestions! - but don’t count on it!
